| Bomba is an ancient strain of rice grown in fresh mountain water near the town of Calasparra in Murcia, Spain (classified D.O.). Until recently Bomba was nearly extinct. Fortunately, gourmet chefs created a demand and Bomba is once again available. This unusual rice expands in width rather than length, absorbing three times its volume in broth, rather than the normal two. The grains remain distinct while cooking, perfect for paella and all your favorite rice dishes. Each bag of Zoe Diva Bomba Rice is individually numbered by the producer.
